What's New at SU Occasions Catalog Blog Hop

Welcome to the February What's New at SU Occasions Catalog Blog Hop. This month we are focusing the amazing products in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and sharing our ideas to help inspire you to create your own projects. You may have just visited Linda's wonderful blog or perhaps you are starting your journey with me. I hope that you will enjoy the creations we have to share with you today.
Today I thought I would showcase the beautiful Forever Lovely stamp set (item #148624) that is a part of the All My Love Suite. The images and sentiments in this stamp set have a wonderful soft and romantic feel to them. I paired this stamp set with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (item #148530) to create the detailed background for this card design. I just love the texture it adds to the Petal Pink cardstock layer.

To create this card, I chose to use Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the card base and the matte layer to the sentiment. I paired it with the Petal Pink embossed cardstock layer for a soft and pretty contrast. I stamped the sentiment and the tiny hearts with Flirty Flamingo Classic ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the large flower image with Petal Pink Classic ink and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Classic ink. I just love the vintage feel that Very Vanilla cardstock adds to this design.

To assemble the card, I added a piece of the Flirty Flamingo 1/8" Ribbon to the center of the Petal Pink cardstock layer. This beautiful ribbon is part of the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack (item #148584) and adds just the right touch to this design. I attached the sentiment panel to the Flirty Flamingo matte layer with Snail Adhesive and attached it to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the design, I added small Basic Pearls to the sentiment panel to add a little bling.
This card design would work beautifully for a variety of occasions, including birthday, anniversary, sympathy and thinking of you. You can create a wonderful variety of cards just by varying the color combinations to create a gift set for someone special.
