Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Grown With Kindness Blog Hop

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop as we share alternative ideas for the February Grown Wit Kindness kit. This beautiful kit features supplies to create 9 full size cards and I just love the photo realistic designer series paper and the amazing stamp set included in this kit.
To showcase this beautiful paper, I took one of the pieces of designer series paper and cut it into two 2 3/8" x 3 3/4" pieces. I matted one piece with Fresh Fig cardstock and the other with Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.

Using the striped card base I attached the Fresh Fig matted piece to the card front and added the stamped sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals and the smaller sentiment with Snail adhesive. For a touch of bling, I added two of the rhinestones from the kit to the large sentiment and tied a small bow with the Whisper White Baker's Twine and added it to the bottom with a Mini Glue Dot.
For the second card I used the Basic Black card base and added the Lemon Lime Twist matted piece with Snail Adhesive. I stamped the teacup image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with a variety of Stampin' Blend Markers and fussy cut it out. I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch. I layered it onto the Fresh Fig Banner from the kit and added the teacup to the top using Stampin' Dimensionals.
As you can see, I used mainly supplies from this wonderful kit to create my alternate card designs, with just a few scraps of Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fig and Whisper White cardstock to embellish.

I just love the teacup stamp and it was so much fun to color with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The variety of sentiments that come with the stamp set in this kit is wonderful and helps create a variety of cards.

  1. Love what you did with the card halves. I thought that succulent picture on the stripes was too busy as it was supposed to be created, yours is definitely a better alternative!
