Ink. Stamp. Share December Blog Hop

Welcome to December's Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop as we prepare to see in the New Year with a color challenge. When you think of the New Year you think of new possibilities and opportunities and that is how I see this month's challenge. You will be visiting Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world as we share our project ideas using the colors in the image below.

I love how bright and vibrant the colors are for this month's challenge and I wanted to use them with a new stamp set that will be available to earn for Free during Sale-a-bration, beginning January 3rd, 2019, with a qualifying order.  The Lovely Lattice stamp set is so pretty and detailed and I knew that I wanted to color the flowers with the colors from the challenge.
I chose Night of Navy cardstock for the card base and added a layer of Pacific Point cardstock as a matte for the Whisper White layer of cardstock that I chose for the focal point of my card design. I stamped the large image with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing powder. I just love the antique feel that that the embossing adds to the design.

Using an Aquapainter, I colored the flowers using Pacific Point, Berry Burst and So Saffron Classic inks and I used Garden Green Classic ink to color the leaves. I added a soft watercolor wash around the edge of the design using Pacific Point Classic ink to add a little dimension to the design. The sentiment is from the new Butterfly Gala stamp set that will be available in the new 2019 Occasions Catalog. I heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder to coordinate with the floral image. I love how these colors work together to create this beautiful card design that would make a wonderful birthday card.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope my card has helped inspire you to try these colors with your projects and experiment with different ways you can use these colors. Remember the New 2019 Occasions Catalog and 2019 Sale-a-bration Catalog launch on January 3rd, 2019. If you would like a copy of the catalogs and you live in the U.S. and don't already have a demonstrator, please contact me and I would be happy to send them to you.
