Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge Week 41 - Fresh Freesia

Happy Friday everyone. It's time to celebrate with Week 41 of the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Color Challenge. This week we are showcasing Fresh Freesia from the Subtles Collection. This soft and pretty purple is one of my favorites and I wanted to use it to create a lovely clean and simple card design that is easy to duplicate for a variety of occasions.
For my card design today, I chose to use the new Love & Strength stamp set from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. This stamp set is perfect for creating cards to provide comfort and support during difficult times. I paired it with the Stylish Shapes Dies, one of my go-to die sets to create a clean and simple layout that showcases the images beautifully. For the background, I chose one of the Fresh Freesia designs from the Subtles 6"x6" Designer Series Paper to add some subtle texture.

This pretty clean and simple card design is easy to create and requires just a few supplies to make. I chose to use Fresh Freesia cardstock for the card base to help make the Fresh Freesia Designer Series Paper card front pop. I love the subtle texture this layer adds to the card design. For the focal image, I stamped the flower using Fresh Freesia Classic ink onto the Basic White cardstock circle and then layered it onto the Fresh Freesia cardstock circle to frame it. I repeated the process for the sentiment, stamping the image with Fresh Freesia Classic ink onto the Basic White sentiment label and then layering it onto the larger Fresh Freesia cardstock banner. I adhered the designer series paper card front to the Fresh Freesia card base and then added the focal circle and sentiment to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals to pop them up. I chose not to add any embellishments but it is an option that you could choose to add if you wish. I just love the simplicity of this card design and the sense of comfort it provides.
