Welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations May Blog Hop and this month we have a Sketch Challenge to share with you. Our talented Design Team will be sharing their projects and ideas using the sketch below to help inspire you to get creative.
I love creating clean and simple card designs, so this card sketch fits well with my style of card making. For the background, I chose one of the designs from the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper and used the Scalloped Contours Dies to create the layers for the focal image. I love how Navy and White look together and how the Night of Navy cardstock helps make the card design pop. Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques, so I used it to emboss the leaf image from the Nature's Prints stamp set and the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set. I chose to create a Thank You card but you could use this design for a variety of occasions.

This clean and simple card design is all about the layers. The combination of Night of Navy and Basic White cardstock adds a simply Wow factor to this design with the multiple layers. I just love the beautiful design in the designer series paper for the background and the texture it adds to the card front. The White embossing for the focal image and sentiment tie in with the color combination to finish off the design. I used Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment and the middle layer of the focal image to add dimension to the design.Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.
