When I think of Halloween, I think of treat packaging and the new Coffin Treat Boxes (item #150451) in the new 2019 Holiday Catalog are a Spooktacular way to give out candy on Halloween night. I embossed both the top and the bottom of the treat box with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder (item #150665) to add some texture and then I sponged the surfaces with the Silvery Shimmer Delicata Pigment ink to distress the coffin and add a touch of shimmer.
To decorate the top of the box, I used the Dracula image and Creepy sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash stamp set (item #150544) and heat embossed it with Shimmer Black Embossing powder for a little added sparkle. I die cut the images using the coordinating Ornate Frames Dies (item #150664). When you order both the stamp set and coordinating dies as a bundle, you can save 10% (Spooktacular Bash Bundle item #153040).
I attached the die cut images to the top of the coffin using Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the coffin, I added Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim (item #149593) to the inside of the coffin lid for a vintage look. This cute little coffin was simple to create and will hold a enough candy to keep any trick or treater happy.
