Welcome to the GSF Extraordinary Blog Hop where we are featuring products from the new 2018 Holiday Catalog. We have Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all over the world sharing there wonderful projects to help inspire you.
Today I thought I would share with you a stamp set that often gets missed in the catalog. It is the Timeless Tidings stamp set and coordinates beautifully with the Timeless Tidings Project Kit (item #148028) to create 20 amazing cards with coordinating envelopes. The lovely sentiments and images in this stamp set also work well to create beautiful Christmas cards when combined with other products and that is what I am sharing with you today.
I chose a Cherry Cobbler cardstock card base for my card and added a layer of Dashing Along Designer Series Paper, which is part of a special Host promotion for the month of September. You can earn this pack of designer series paper for Free when you host a qualifying party. The designs and colors of this pack are perfect for traditional style Christmas projects.
I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tidings stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder onto a Whisper White cardstock circle that I die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies.
On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the Poinsettia image and heat embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I then fussy cut the image and attached it to the large circle and then popped everything up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Using the Leaf Punch I punched out two sets of leaves from Gold Foil and attached them to the card front with the stems behind the circle. To finish off the card I added small Pearl Rhinestones to the center of the Poinsettia to add a touch of bling.
As you can see, you can make simply beautiful cards with this stamp set and using the variety of sentiments and images, you can create a variety of designs with a few simple supplies.
